Meet the journalists covering the stories that deserve more attention

Hello everyone,

I’m delighted to say that Proximities is launching a podcast and the first episode is now available. I couldn’t have asked for a better inaugural guest than Hiba Morgan, who is the Al Jazeera English correspondent in Sudan. Hiba spoke to me from Sudan’s capital Khartoum, where she has spent more than three years covering a civil war while also living through it as a Sudanese person.
