Tunisia
At least 40 people, including children, from several African countries drowned off the coast of Tunisia when the boat carrying them sank, according to local officials. About 30 were rescued, Tunisian radio station Mosaique FM said. The prosecutor’s office said it has opened an investigation. Tunisia has become a common transit point for people attempting to reach Europe and claim asylum. Its government has faced pressure to stop the departures and the EU in 2003 pledged €127 million in aid to stamp out trafficking. More than 30,000 have been reported dead or missing on Mediterranean migration routes since 2014, International Organization for Migration figures show.

Gaza
Israel must ensure the basic needs of people in Gaza are met, including letting in enough food aid, the U.N.’s top legal body, the International Court of Justice, said today. “As an occupying power, Israel is obliged to ensure the basic needs of the local population, including the supplies essential for their survival,” presiding judge Yuji Iwasawa said. Under a ceasefire deal with Hamas signed this month, Israel agreed to allow 600 aid trucks a day into the Palestinian enclave, where famine has been declared, but it has permitted far fewer, according to U.N. agencies. Israel’s foreign ministry rejected the opinion of the court in a post on X, saying it “fully upholds its obligations under international law.”

Peru
Peru said it is declaring a 30-day state of emergency in its capital Lima and the neighboring province of Callao to get a handle on a spiraling crime rate after protests that killed one and wounded more than 100. The demonstrations led to the impeachment of unpopular leader Dina Boluarte. Jose Jeri replaced her as president, immediately pledging to make crime his top priority. Jeri said the military would now be deployed alongside police but gave no further details on the plan. Boluarte imposed the same emergency powers in March, but they appeared to do little to reduce crime or restore her cratering approval ratings.

How can Israel keep getting away with not fulfilling their obligations? They just say declare something critical of them "infested with terrorists" and keep the suffering going.
Food, water, air, sleep, and shelter are some of THE MOST basic human needs, AIR is the only thing the zionists are unable to freeze for the Palestinians, i won't be surprised if it turns out they are trying to stop air too.
